Eagle Pointe is a sub-division of mixed occupancy 3,4 and 5 bed villas located two and half miles south of the 192 on Poicianna Blvd. 5-6 minutes from Wal*Mart and Medieval Times Theme Dinner Castle. There are two small lakes on the sub-divition and a "tots play area" with swings etc. It takes usually less than 10 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom on normally uncongested highways. Eagle Pointe has easy access to I-4 that takes you to International Drive and Universal Studies. Orlando International and Stanford Airports are easily accessible bout 30 and 60 minutes away respectively. Both the Atlantic and Pacific coast attractions are are easily accessable.
Mickey's tree House get's its name from the scultured real tree that is by the front door to welcome to his home.
Living Area
The Lounge or Great Room has double French Widows to the screened pool area. The room has a catheral ceiling giving a spacious feel. The whole of the villa, with the exception of bathrooms and kitchen are carpeted with top residential quality beige carpetting.
The lounge and the rest of the villa is NOT furnished with "contract pack" furnisher that is found in many villas. The villa was furnished for us to live in and as such each item was individually chaosen for quality and comfort. There are two sofas and coffee tables. The cable TV, DVD Player, Video Recorder and Stereo System are connected to a Surround Sound System. There are a variety of picture s and ornaments and all windows have eithe blinds, curtains or both. Bedroom 4 and the Master Bedroom lead from the Longe.
Kitchen
The Kitchen is off the "formal" dining room and comes equiped with every conceivable appliance. Large Fridge/Freezer with ice and water dispensers. Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, large microwave cooker and many other small appliances. There is a door leading to the laundry and garage. In addition there is a breafast bar and an informal dining nook.
Dining Area
The villa living area is open plan. An arched dividing wall separated the formal dining room from the lounge and the breakfast bar from the kitchen. There is a large oval dining table and 6 chairs.
In the Informal Dining Nook there is a circular glas-topped table and 4 wrought iron dining chairs. We sometimes use these dining chairs in the main dining room for larger gatherings
Bedrooms
There are four bedrooms, all carpeted. The Master bedroom and Bedroom 3 have TV's. The Master Bedroom Suite has a Queen Sized bed, side tables and lamps. The south facing window is curtained and has louvre blinds. It overlooks the pool and wooded Conservation area.. The Master Bathroom is luxurious by any standard comprising of a large corner bath tub, a double shower with tiled bench seating and a double vanity unit. The dressing room leads of the bathroom. There is a separate toilet room off the bathroom.
Bedroom 4 has a Queen sized bed, side tables and a dressing table. The south facing French windows lead to the patio and pool. The French windows have curtains and blinds.
Bedroom 3 has a Queen sized bed, two side tables, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. The floor plan is such that this bedroom almost has an en-suite bath room comprising of a full length bath, toilet, vanity unit and a shower in the bath. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and side tables, built in wardrobe and a TV.
All freshly laundered bed linen and towels are provided.
Pool
The pool is south facing. It is 30ft x 16ft and is electrically heated. There is a raised spa/hot tub on the southwestern corner of the patio. The pool is SOUTH facing so you can get the sun ALL day long. There is are raised fountain sprays on the raised southern pool wall. The large patio decking area has a large steel and glass topped dining table, 4 dining chairs. There are two matching loungers. There is NO plastic furniture at all!
The entire rear area of the pool is screened by the high trees in the conservation area.
Approximately 50 yards from the pool is a local lake that has fish in it.
